Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Cardiff area , offering strong pay, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression — with no night shifts ?
We are working with a well-established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high-volume production site in Cardiff . This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role within a business investing heavily in people, equipment, and future growth.
The Role
Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a balanced mix of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance , ensuring machinery and production lines run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment

Fault-finding and effective breakdown response in a time-critical production environment

Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering-led initiatives

Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards
This role operates on a 2/3s shift pattern (Days Only) , offering structured daytime hours and strong work–life balance.
