About the role:
We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a vibrant College in Birmingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners aged 16+ with a variety of additional needs, including learning difficulties and SEMH.
Key responsibilities:
Provide academic and pastoral support to students both in the classroom and outside of it.
Assist with lessons e.g. adapting materials and approaches to tailor to the needs of the student.
Promote a supportive and inclusive environment for learners to thrive.
Work closely with other college departments.
What we\’re looking for:
Experience supporting young adults with SEN in an education setting.
A caring and patient nature.
Good communication skills.
A DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one.
Relevant qualifications are desireable.
