PDSL is excited to present an opportunity for a Contract EDU Design Engineer Specialist with our esteemed client in Coventry, West Midlands. This fixed-term role, lasting until January 2026, offers a competitive rate of £29.63 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design proposals for electric drive unit (EDU) enhancements.
- Conduct package assessments and ensure concept credibility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective issue resolution.
- Manage 3D assemblies and create detailed component drawings.
- Utilise JLR tools while identifying process improvements and best practices.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in 3D modelling tools, especially CATIA V6.
- Working knowledge of GD&T and drafting.
- Experience in project management and delivering innovative design solutions.
- Degree in engineering or relevant experience preferred.
