Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Installer to join our team. The role is a mobile role covering South West and South East London. The role involves the installation, conversion, and maintenance of a variety of gas heating systems across commercial and large domestic settings. A key part of this role will include combi boiler installations and conversions, alongside other gas system work, ensuring all installations meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install a range of commercial and domestic gas heating systems, including combi boilers
  • Carry out system conversions (e.g., traditional systems to combi setups)
  • Decommission and safely remove old or redundant heating systems
  • Install and test associated components, such as flues, pumps, pipework, and control systems
  • Diagnose and resolve installation issues effectively
  • Ensure all work is compliant with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and installation documentation
  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members on-site

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Gas Safe Registration (Domestic & Commercial)
  • Proven experience with combi boiler installations and system conversions
  • Strong understanding of commercial heating layouts and installation best practices
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety

Desirable Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
  • G3 certification (Unvented Hot Water Systems)
  • CSCS card
  • Experience in social housing, facilities maintenance, or plant room installations
