An established and highly successful organisation operating at scale across the UK and Europe is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its expanding Data, Analytics & Insight team. This business plays a critical role in supporting healthcare and other essential services, managing complex operations across multiple sites and regions.
As part of a 15-strong analytics function—seven of whom have joined in the past year—you’ll be joining at an exciting time of investment and growth. With significant momentum behind the team, this role offers a chance to contribute to a culture that values data-driven decision-making and innovation.
You’ll use your expertise in Power BI and SQL to design intuitive, engaging dashboards that empower colleagues across the business to make faster, smarter decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and deliver high-quality, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI, supporting commercial and operational priorities.
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Apply data visualisation best practices to present complex data clearly and accessibly.
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing dashboards, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and relevance as business needs evolve.
- Support colleagues in adopting self-service BI tools and identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards in a commercial environment.
Strong SQL skills for querying and data preparation.
A keen eye for dashboard design and usability, making insights easy to interpret and act upon
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable (nice to have)
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, PowerApps, or Power Automate.
- Understanding of data modelling and data warehouse principles.
