**We are recruiting in the East of England**

Next Generation Utilities is a Northeast-based company founded in 2019. We have installed over a quarter of a million meters. As the business continues to grow, the CEO emphasizes maintaining a \’family business feel\’. Our field team managers support their engineers in every way, aiming to motivate and encourage rather than micromanage, to deliver the best for our clients and their customers. We are looking for experienced Engineers in Scotland within the dual fuel industry. The role involves installing meters safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.

As a smart Meter engineer, you will be field-based and required to travel reasonable distances. Out-of-hours calls may be required on a rotational basis (contract-specific).

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock levels and rotating stock.
  • Attending planned work or faults within SLAs.
  • Representing the business and client professionally.
  • Liaising with line managers to achieve targets.

Company Benefits:

  • Starting salary £40,000 plus 10% LWA.
  • Optional on-call for certain contracts.
  • 31 days’ annual leave including bank holidays, increasing with service.
