FINTEC recruit are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our client’s expanding team in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established company known for its expertise in both planned and reactive maintenance services.
If you hold Gas Safe and FGAS certifications and have a proactive, hands-on approach, we’d love to hear from you.
This is a permanent role with a salary up to £46k depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities of the HVAC Engineer:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, attend reactive service calls, and carry out installation projects.
- Identify and resolve issues across a range of plant equipment, including boilers, AHUs, motors, pumps, fans, plumbing, and air conditioning systems.
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements, collaborating closely with the project delivery team to ensure safe working practices.
- Coordinate with project managers and planners to ensure efficient and timely job completion.
- Accurately complete job documentation and daily reports using mobile software tools.
- Foster strong client relationships through consistent, high-quality service and professionalism.
Skills and Experience for the HVAC Engineer:
- Valid Commercial Gas Safe certification
- FGAS qualified
- LPG and Oil certifications (preferred)
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial HVAC service and repair
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices and risk assessment procedures
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical schematics and diagrams
- Possess a full, clean UK driving licence
- Flexible and willing to travel across the UK as required
