Key Responsibilities:
As Child Sponsorship Field Content Production Director, you will lead the global production, delivery and quality review of over 20 million printed and digital sponsor content assets annually—including letters, cards, videos, photos, and updates, based on Field Content gathered by close to 1000 Area Programmes and close to 50 Field Offices, and which are distributed to child sponsors in more than 20 fundraising markets, and in up to 380 language combinations.
This role ensures that all child-sponsor communications are honouring the registered children and communities who WV serves, are quality assured, meet brand and content standards, and are suitably resonant for sponsors. They will contribute directly to both child and sponsor retention and engagement while ensure field to support offices’ operations optimisation, efficiency and effectiveness.
You will oversee both human and AI-supported quality review processes, embrace new and emerging technologies, manage staff in multiple countries and with varying labour laws, with a focus on efficiency, scale, innovation, and excellence.
You will work with inhouse and external partners to refine processes for greater efficiency and consider or embrace new or emerging technology that transform our approach, reduce costs, whilst meeting deadlines and operational standards.
You will use your creative, technical and management skills to assist sponsored children and their communities to tell their own stories, while enabling sponsors to deeply understand the impact they help create.

Major Responsibilities
Lead Global Content Production & Quality Review Operations
In alignment with Field Office requirements, manage high-volume production workflows to ensure the quality, accuracy and timely delivery of all digital and printed child-sponsor communications, in collaboration with internal teams, translation partners, and external vendors. This includes managing workflows, fluctuating staff for surge capacity and implementation and refinement of hybrid quality assurance models, combining AI-supported tools and human review to assess tone, appropriateness, clarity, and emotional impact of sponsor-facing content.
Commercial Coordination Across a Global Ecosystem
Manage commercial arrangements with 15+ fundraising offices and content delivery from 50+ field partners to ensure alignment with market requirements, language needs, and content formats
Process Optimization, Automation & Transformation
Identify and implement improvements in production efficiency, workflow automation, and content management tools to meet evolving end-to-end business needs at scale.
Ensure Content Quality
In collaboration with the Field Operations team and Product design team, develop and uphold quality benchmarks and approval protocols to ensure child-sponsor communications are consistently accurate, culturally sensitive, emotionally engaging, and aligned with retention goals.
Manage internal team members and vendor relationships, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Deliver regular reports and strategic insights to leadership on production KPIs, QA outcomes, and sponsor satisfaction metrics, helping inform continuous improvement efforts and decision-making.
Cultivate strategic relationships and actively engage in internal and external networks to advance improvement initiatives and expand leadership influence
Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, programme change management, publishing, quality assurance or marketing.
10+ years’ experience in business, process or technology optimisation leadership roles
Good understanding of Child Sponsorship and development programming, preferably with World Vision.
Proven experience managing high-volume content production operations, preferably in publishing, quality assurance, communications, or global marketing
Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, ideally including AI-human-in-the-loop review models and process refinement including lean thinking / six sigma, automation and workflow optimisation
Experience in managing business operations in a global and complex organizational structure.
Demonstrated skills in managing cross-cultural and cross-functional groups and teams
Effective team leadership and vendor management capabilities
Exceptional project/programme and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of cross-functional coordination across diverse geographies
Strong analytical and reporting skills; ability to turn operational data into strategic insight
Familiarity with data systems, content pipelines, and digital publishing tools
Capability to streamline steps, reduce duplication, and simplify handoffs.
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies to eliminate waste and variation.
Ability to visualize and break down existing workflows to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
