Performance Media Planning Account Director – Network Media Agency – 6 Months – August Start

A top network agency in Central London is looking for a UK Digital Planning Director to start early August on one of their key clients in the auto sector. This is a globally known brand and your focus will specifically be on the commercial and passenger vehicles part of the account. This is a hands on planning role, with an immediate focus on 2026 annual planning with the support of an AM and an exec. You will act as the key performance point of contact within this specific vertical, leading weekly performance calls, driving optimisations and unpicking/pulling insights from data to ultimately drive sales. There will be a strong project management element to the role as well and you will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and agency partners, so the ability to juggle multiple projects/points of contact is key.

To be considered, you will need to be established at AD (or above) level with a strong background in cross digital planning within an agency environment. Auto experience is not a requirement.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to be in the London office 2-3 times a week.

You:

  • Established Director level media planning specialist with strong understanding of all digital channels

  • Comfortable with hands on media planning ideally in the UK market. There will be a strategic element to the role but it is more planning led

  • Experience working on complex accounts with a lot of moving parts

  • Client-facing – ability to manage direct client questioning and take a lead in meetings from a performance marketing perspective.

  • A background in project management – able to demonstrate experience working with multiple agency partners and internal stakeholders
