We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client\’s dynamic team and lead innovative electrical design projects across diverse sectors, including education, residential, commercial, healthcare, and beyond. This role offers the opportunity to oversee all aspects of project execution, from initial surveys and client liaising to detailed design and project management. The successful candidate will be pivotal in implementing company procedures, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of high standards aligned with current regulations and industry best practices. You will play a key role in maintaining and expanding the client base, ensuring projects meet budget, quality, and compliance standards, while fostering strong client relationships and guiding the design team to excellence. Proven experience in electrical design and project management within a consultancy or contractor environment In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, and British Standards Skilled in producing detailed specifications, design calculations (manual and software-based), and drawings Experience with Revit/BIM standards and producing tender packages, including tender analysis Capability to manage multi-disciplinary projects, carry out site surveys, and produce condition reports Strong client liaison, presentation, and negotiation skills Experienced in budget costings, project monitoring, and quality inspections Leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on supporting junior engineers and team development Joining this organisation means becoming part of a forward-thinking team committed to excellence and innovation.
