About the Role
Wolviston Management Services are proud to support our client in the recruitment of experienced HGV Class 1 or 2 Vacuum Tanker Operators to join a specialist team delivering industrial services across multiple UK sites.
Working in a physically demanding, hands-on role, you’ll operate vacuum tankers for a range of environmental and industrial cleaning operations. This role requires flexibility to work away from home, and a proactive, safety-conscious attitude.
Offering a competitive salary with overtime and travel allowances. Permanent and contract opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities

  • Operating vacuum tankers for the removal and transport of liquid and solid waste from industrial facilities
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with site-specific procedures and safety standards
  • Conducting basic vehicle and equipment checks and reporting any defects
  • Supporting wider industrial cleaning operations where needed – including confined space or high-pressure jetting (where qualified)
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials moved
  • Upholding high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times

What We’re Looking For

  • Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence with up-to-date CPC
  • No more than 6 Penalty Points
  • NO DD, DR or IN10 codes on your licence
  • Experience operating vacuum tankers in industrial or environmental services
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • ADR qualification (Advantageous but not essential)
  • Willingness to work away from home as required
  • A “can-do” attitude, prepared to get stuck in and support the team in manual and dirty environments
  • Strong awareness of safety and operational protocols
