We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail ready cuts for butchers’ counters to branded packaged meat, all as part of our service; raised on open pastures, sourced from local farmers and hand-selected by our master butchers, we produce beef and lamb products with integrity and unmatched quality assurance.
We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to work in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site.
This is a full time, permanent position working on the night shift – 6.00pm to 2.30am Monday to Friday with an hourly rate of £12.94.
Job Description:
- Make sure stock is rotated effectively within your department.
- Handle the booking of stock and assist with unloading and loading wagons.
- Engage in picking and scanning items to fulfill orders.
- Your main goal is to guarantee that the right products are picked and the correct quantities are dispatched.
- Take responsibility for ensuring all documentation is completed with precision.
Requirements
Qualifications And Experience:
- Strong numerical abilities
- Solid command of the English language
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus
- Familiarity with PPT is a bonus but not required
- A robust work ethic
