Ph Water & Air Technologies is looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team. If you reside in either Essex or London this would be ideal as we have a geographical area that’s far and wide. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of water hygiene tasks to ensure compliance with current legislation, including L8/ACoP and HSG274. Your duties will include temperature monitoring, water sampling, tank inspections, TMV servicing, and remedial plumbing work. What you receive for joining us: We offer a competitive salary between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, with 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, a financial loyalty bonus scheme, company vehicle, a company pension and healthcare along with other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Temperature monitoring of outlets, tanks, and cylinders; visual inspections of water systems; internal inspections of water heaters and tanks; calorifier blowdown; and inspection and servicing of thermostatic mixer valves Cleaning and disinfection of shower heads, pipework systems, cold water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011; descaling and internal inspections of water heaters Water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit Water heater and tank inspections, with knowledge of cooling towers and analysis preferable but not essentialCan you show experience in some of these areas?
