Have you wondered where it came from and how much it cost Amazon to deliver it to you? If so, the WW Amazon Logistics, Last Mile team is for you. We manage the delivery of tens of millions of products every week to Amazon’s customers, achieving on-time delivery in a cost-effective manner to deliver a smile for our customers.
Amazon Logistics is looking for a customer-focused, analytically and technically skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to drive effective performance measurement and management, innovation, and execution in last mile delivery. This position will be responsible for leading a BIE team building analysis and visualization tools and processes to support our growing Amazon Logistics business in Europe and worldwide.
The successful candidate will be able to retrieve, integrate, visualize, and present critical data to improve the efficiency of the package delivery network and enable effective management of a large global logistics system. This individual will work with technical and business teams to optimize planning, execution, and process improvement, and track progress against goals. This role requires excellent analytical abilities, business acumen, comfort with technical teams and systems, and a self-starter attitude with strong attention to detail.
Core Job Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with internal stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Collaborating with Data Engineering and Software Development Engineers to prioritize and define data and BI development needs.
- Working with scientists, supply chain, transportation, and logistics teams to identify new BI capabilities and projects.
- Conducting investigations into operations and business problems to identify opportunities and support implementation.
- Analyzing geo-spatial logistics and transaction data to identify user behavior or process issues, and providing analysis reports with recommendations.
- Serving as a liaison between planning, analytics, and operations teams to provide actionable insights and support investigations into performance and improvements.
- Developing queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and ongoing reporting.
PODSTAWOWE KWALIFIKACJE
– Experience analyzing data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
– Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
– Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
– Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
– Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python) for data processing.
– Experience in the data/BI space.
PREFEROWANE KWALIFIKACJE
– Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
– Experience with data mining, ETL, and handling large-scale datasets in a business environment.
