This is a fantastic Data Governance Manager opportunity to work with a leading engineering services organisation, to lead the development and execution of data governance to ensure data is accurate, secure, and supports confident, informed decision-making.
The Data Governance Manager is a hybrid working role, initially in the London office 4 days p/w, dropping to 3 days p/w following successful probation.
As the Data Governance Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining data quality, security, and regulatory compliance, responsible for the strategic oversight of the organization\βs data governance framework. Credible experience in data governance, GDPR, and a track record of creating and applying data governance frameworks and policies is essential as Data Governance Manager. Previous experience working with data governance platforms and systems such as Varonis, Microsoft Purview, and Power BI is essential as Data Governance Manager. The Data Governance Manager will demonstrate exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Key Skills as Data Governance Manager:
- 3+ yearsβ experience in a similar role, driving data governance, management, security, and GDPR.
- Strong technical proficiency in data governance tools and systems, such as Varonis, Microsoft Purview, and Power BI.
- Ability to drive strategic, data-led initiatives through effective data analysis and reporting.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to develop clear policies, standards, and data dictionaries.
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and strategic mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills.
