We are seeking an experienced PLM Windchill Consultant to join our team and support the design, implementation, and optimisation of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with PTC Windchill and a strong understanding of PLM best practices, configuration, and customisation.
Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to analyse PLM requirements and recommend best‑fit solutions using PTC Windchill.
- Configure, customise, and deploy Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, etc.).
- Integrate Windchill with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP systems.
- Manage data migration, upgrades, and system maintenance.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to end users.
- Document processes, workflows, and configurations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and IT.
- Working independently after initial training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with PTC Windchill PLM.
- Strong knowledge of PLM processes (Change Management, BOM Management, Document Management, Configuration Management).
- Experience in Windchill customization (Java, JSP, Info*Engine, workflows).
- Familiarity with CAD data management and ERP integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- [Optional] Experience with ThingWorx, IoT, or Digital Thread concepts is a plus.
