A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Team Leader who will work at our client’s prestigious site.
This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic individual with great leadership skills as well as passion for cleaning and for people and likes to be hands-on.

Duties as a Team Leader

Monitor and maintain the cleaning standards for the contract as laid down in the specification

Monitor janitorial duties being delivered across the site and ensure frequencies and standards of servicing are sufficient for client needs

Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations by deploying staff appropriately

Embrace the One Team ethos of the site in dealing with other facilities suppliers and in constant consideration of the impact our activities may have on other stakeholders

Report any building faults to the Building Services team and apply signage as appropriate

Escalate incidents or areas of concern to the Service Delivery Manager

Constantly project a professional image of the company by being an ambassador of Bidvest Noonan’s PRIDE values: Professionalism, Respect, Innovation, Determination and Excellence

Ensure the cleaning team are carrying out cleaning tasks in addition to reactive tasks throughout the day

Adhere to COSHH regulations
EHSQ Responsibilities

Ensure that all employees are compliant with company policies in relation to Health and Safety at Work Regulations

Comply with the Company accident reporting procedure and assist promptly and accurately in the completion of all relevant documentation

Respond to emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery

Report any health and safety issues

Report all near misses and good catches to Service Delivery Manage
Operational Responsibilities
-
Ensure that Storerooms are appropriately stocked and in a clean and tidy condition at all times. At no time should we run out of any store items

Ensure all machinery and equipment is suitably maintained, PAT tested and report any issues
-
Engage in ongoing monitoring of standards being delivered, identify shortfalls and propose rectifications, identify training needs and deliver requisite guidance

Ensure all staff are fully equipped to perform the duties required of them

Keep up to date with new innovations and be open to change
Staff Responsibilities

To be responsible for the day-to-day Supervision of the Cleaning Operatives

To develop good working relationships with employees and amongst employees in order to engender a strong team spirit amongst the cleaning team

To disseminate information on a daily basis to Cleaning Operatives

To deliver training and toolbox talks to all staff as required

To ensure that employees project a professional image in their dress, behaviour, attitude, and method of working

Ensure a seamless and harmonious one team approach

Good level of spoken English and understanding of written English required whilst at work and carrying out duties for reasons of Health and Safety, * 2-3 years Team Leader experience
