The role

As a Senior Integrated Product Support Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of our mission to deliver reliable, through-life support for cutting-edge defence systems. You’ll influence the support concept of products and collaborate closely with our customers, ensuring equipment is supported throughout its lifecycle. This is a high-impact role that offers exciting career development and the opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most advanced defence programmes.

Day-to-day you’ll be:

  • Conducting Supportability Analysis and recording outcomes in Logistics Supportability Analysis Records (LSAR) databases
  • Maintaining Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) plans and delivering performance reports
  • Collaborating with engineering, supply chain, commercial, and project management teams
  • Creating supportability cases for emerging technologies and system upgrades
  • Ensuring consistency across system updates and upgrades

Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements and is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including any of our Bristol, Hawthorn and Oakhanger sites.

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.

Essential experience

  • Practitioner of Supportability Analysis and LSAR data input
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of ILS/IPS requirements throughout the lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • HNC/HND with relevant experience is valued and welcome
