Are you a freight forwarding / \”import Export\” professional with strong experience in sea freight and possibly road, air, or rail too? This is your chance to take the lead as an \”Import Export Manager\” with a growing, international logistics company.
As the \’Import & Export Manager\” youll manage all UK ocean freight import/export activity while supporting multimodal solutions where needed. You\’ll have strong leadership skills to drive performance and the operational knowledge to keep freight moving worldwide and for the team to be efficient, collaborative and motivated.
As \”import & Export Manager\” Youll Be:

Leading UK import & export operations, primarily sea / ocean freight (FCL/LCL)

Managing and mentoring a team of operations professionals – including recruiting & onboarding

Overseeing the full shipment cycle: booking, documentation, compliance, customs, and final delivery

Ensuring UK customs and port compliance, plus adherence to international trade laws

Collaborating with carriers, overseas agents, and key clients

Monitoring KPIs, improving processes, and driving team performance

Supporting wider multimodal freight services (road, air) where relevant
What Youll Bring:

5+ years in freight forwarding, ideally with a sea / ocean freight focus

Experience with both \”import and export\” operations
