This is a unique opportunity to join a brilliant and ambitious business as a Senior Merchandiser, playing a pivotal role in setting up a brand-new merchandising function within a dynamic, fast-paced business.
Working across non-fashion categories, you\’ll bring a strategic and commercial mindset to a broad and growing product range. You\’ll be instrumental in building out robust processes, creating and maintaining a detailed WSSI, and delivering actionable insight to support commercial decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and lead the new merchandising function from the ground up

Create and manage a comprehensive WSSI for planning and forecasting

Drive trade actions through insightful analysis and range planning

Manage and develop a small team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture

Partner with buying, logistics, and supply chain to optimise stock flow and availability

Present trade updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including board level

Deputise for the Head of Merchandising when required
About You:

Proven experience in a senior merchandising role, ideally in a non-fashion category

Comfortable being hands-on in the day-to-day while also influencing at a strategic level

Commercially astute with strong analytical and planning skills

Experienced in creating and maintaining a WSSI

Gravitas and credibility to present to and influence board-level stakeholders

A collaborative and motivating leader with experience managing and mentoring teams
