Responsibilities and Duties
The role is varied, and the below duties are not exhaustive.

Create and maintain a strategic marketing plan with an emphasis towards Inbound Marketing based on agreed target personas and sectors, including channel recommendations, budgets and timings.

Deliver a target number of marketing qualified leads (MQL) via a mix of marketing channels, including but not limited to, social media, SEO, website conversion, social/online advertising and email marketing at an acceptable CPA.

Create or commission content as identified in the plan including but not limited to, web pages, blog posts, social media posts and graphics, emails, video and banner ads in line with brand guidelines for use at the various stages of the inbound marketing funnel.

Initiate campaign measurement, produce results and KPI reports, analyse successes and failures, and uphold a process of continual improvement.

Develop HubSpot best practice and share the knowledge with relevant stakeholders.

Support the set up and use of a marketing CRM to help manage campaigns, give a single customer view and report on performance.

Scope the digitised customer journey through the website and input into creation of chatbot and other modern day practices including A.I.

Conduct ongoing market research for both target personas and our sector.

Ensure adequate departmental measurement and reporting is in play and maintained.

A minimum of 5 years’ operating at a senior marketing level

A proven track record of inbound marketing campaigns within a B2B environment.

Proven copywriting skills.

Implementation of on and off-site SEO, including technical and content improvements, producing keyword research and improving search engine rankings

Managing sponsored LinkedIn campaigns including creating audience segments and targeted propositions

Responsibility for improving website conversion rates from visit to enquiry through design, UX and content techniques

Proven copywriting skills in developing creative content.

Managing supplier relationships.

A good working knowledge of marketing related platforms e.g. HubSpot, Mail Chimp etc.

Production of email campaigns through data selection, subject lines, promotions, visual presentation and content relevance

Ability to manage budgets and calculate ROI as part of departmental measurement and reporting
Person Specification – Desirable Experience

Ecommerce and fulfilment sector knowledge

Graphic design with previous experience of Adobe Photoshop and Canva
