The Job Youll Do;
- Promoting the desired business culture, ethics and initiatives
- Ensure compliance to all legal and safety regulations and standards
- Support the development, configuration and implementation of product engineering, production planning and control processes and systems to ensure efficiency and data maintenance within the ERP/MRP system
- Ensure manufacturing operations are efficient with capacity and flexibility aligned to business needs and delivered at best cost
- Monitor and forecast production capacity needs to meet customer and business needs, adjusting as appropriate in reaction to changes in demand
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies ensuring alignment with other functional areas of the business and business objectives
- Develop and install a customer focused, problem solving, continuous improvement culture, applying lean sigma principles and methodologies to all manufacturing operations
- Managing personnel ensuring performance and activities are aligned to business objectives
- Effective planning, allocation, and evaluating the work carried out by teams, individuals and oneself
- Reviewing budgets and manufacturing cost performance
About You;
- Knowledge and experience of supply chain/operations/manufacturing/management and best practices
- Minimum 10 years experience in a leading position in operations
- Bachelor/Masters degree with a technical focus (desirable)
- Lean / Six Sigma certification (knowledge, experience)
- Project management skills
- Ability to work logically and systematically
- Commercially aware, analytical, numerate and computer literate with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- A pragmatic and a practical problem solver driving continuous improvement
- A team player with a professional and positive approach, able to work on own initiative
- Receptive to organizational change
- People management and change management skills (communication, influencing, assertiveness).
- Self-motivated, flexible and a proactive approach to work demonstrating a dynamic and enthusiastic manner
- Ability to perform under pressure
