Are you a strategic HR leader with a passion for education and people development? Our client, a well-respected education provider, is seeking a People Partner to join their regional leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence culture, drive people initiatives, and make a lasting impact across multiple educational settings.

About the Role:
As a People Partner, you\’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape and implement the regional people strategy. You will lead and support local HR teams, coach school Heads and senior leaders, and drive initiatives that build capability, engagement, and performance.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring a confident HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Strategic People Leadership

  • Drive and implement the people strategy across the region, ensuring alignment with wider organisational goals.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to lead change, support workforce planning, and strengthen leadership capability.

  • Lead local implementation of central HR initiatives.

Team Management & Development

  • Support and develop People Advisors through regular coaching, feedback, and development planning.

  • Provide guidance and support to local HR teams to ensure consistency and compliance in HR practices.

Talent & Workforce Planning

  • Lead recruitment for key leadership and HR roles.

  • Support succession planning and internal talent development.

  • Monitor internal promotion rates and help identify and close succession gaps.

Learning & Development

  • Work with the central L&D team to deliver impactful development programmes.

  • Equip managers with the tools and skills to lead effectively.

Engagement & Culture

  • Monitor employee engagement and drive initiatives to improve satisfaction, retention, and wellbeing.

  • Promote an inclusive, values-led culture across all settings.

Employee Relations & Performance

  • Act as the escalation point for complex ER matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.

  • Oversee performance management and support managers in conducting timely and meaningful reviews.

Compensation & HR Systems

  • Support the development of fair pay and benefits strategies.

  • Leverage HR data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, with a strong background in the education sector (this is essential)

  • A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within schools or multi-site educational settings

  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities

  • A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving

  • Solid experience in employee relations, change management, and talent planning

  • The ability to influence and build relationships at all levels

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) preferred
