Job Summary
Emirates is looking for Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) – Boeing to join its pilot examination team at the industry-leading Emirates Training College.
Operating from our world-class training facility in Dubai, our Synthetic Flight Examiners play a crucial role in the continuous training and evaluation of our pilots. SFEs uphold the requirements of both the GCAA and Emirates through thorough assessments to ensure the safety of flight operations.
This role includes in-simulator and on-ground instruction, lesson preparation, pre-and post-flight briefings, report writing and assessments.
Job description:
Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory and company-mandated proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs), in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates\’ training standards.
- Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring consistency and objectivity in line with established benchmarks.
- Complete and submit accurate and detailed examination reports and assessments using the electronic reporting system within prescribed timelines.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial or additional training as required to uphold safety and competency standards.
- Provide detailed feedback to training management regarding pilot performance trends, systemic issues, or potential improvements in instructional methodology and training effectiveness.
- Support training program development, course reviews, and other departmental initiatives related to simulator and ground-based pilot evaluation.

Requirements
- Hold or have held a CPL Commercial Pilot License MPL Multicrew Pilot License or ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License
- Minimum 12 months experience as an active examiner
- Minimum 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multipilot airplane
- Advanced communication and leadership skills
