A multi-faceted business services group based near Dartford in Kent is seeking an experienced Head of Finance with recent experience in the construction sector. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be joining the company at a time of growth, working closely with the M.D. as they expand the business in Europe. Prospective candidates must have recent experience working in the construction sector. Key areas of responsibility include:-
- Overseeing the finance function and managinga team of three
- Payroll using Sage Line 50
- Produce and monitor the annual budget
- Invoice factoring
- Detailed cash flow analysis
- Financial planning, analysing the business, pointing out areas to improve, tightening controls
The ideal person will have proven experience in a similar role, be hands-on, and keen to improve processes and procedures. Extensive experience with Sage Line 50 is a must, as are first-rate interpersonal skills, liaising with colleagues at all levels within the business.Please note that this opportunity is office-based.
