The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Temporary Site Manager for a short-term contract of up to 6 weeks. Assisting the Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious development using traditional construction techniques, ensuring plots are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Take direction from the No.1 Site Manager for all on-site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and other site staff.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Monitor project progress and report updates to the build manager and site manager.

Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.

Resolve any on-site issues promptly and effectively.

Liaise with customers, local authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably with a housebuilder.

Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

CSCS card and First Aid at Work qualification.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and building standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
