We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to manage one of our building refurbishment projects in Sheffield, South Yorkshire
You will be based at Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village in the Woodhouse area of Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
We are 3 years into a 5 year project on the 217-apartment site carrying out numerous M&E fire safety improvements, including fire alarm upgrades, emergency lighting, warden call systems, domestic & commercial wiring, extraction systems, and much more!
Who are we looking for?
Were looking for an experienced Site Manager with a solid M&E background, particularly in fire safety systems such as fire alarms, dry risers, emergency lighting, warden call systems, and both commercial and domestic wiring. Youll be working in a live retirement village setting, so a strong understanding of compliance, resident safety, and professionalism is essential.
The nature of the work may involve accessing hidden servicesbehind walls, under floors, or within kitchens and bathroomsso experience in general building works is important. A background in joinery would be ideal, along with a good working knowledge of plumbing, plastering, painting, and finishing works to ensure everything is reinstated to a high standard.
Youll be responsible for managing subcontractors, coordinating day-to-day site activity, and ensuring temporary works like scaffolding and fencing are properly handled. A proactive approach, problem-solving mindset, and high standards of quality and health & safety are key.

The role of a Site Manager (Building Refurbishment) at Casey
Manage site teams and contractors to deliver high-quality work using the right resources and procedures.
Foster a positive site culture, encourage team development, and support collaborative working.
Ensure all required documentation is completed on time and attend relevant meetings.
Maintain health and safety plans, risk assessments, permits, and training records in line with legislation.

What do you receive in return?
Salary between £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
Car Allowance of £4,000 per annum
