I am on the lookout for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join my client in Dungannon.
Established in the 1960s, Mallaghan Engineering has evolved into a leading global manufacturer of Ground support equipment (GSE)
The Role – Electrical Engineering Manager
As the electrical engineering manager, you will play a key role in leading the Electrical Engineering team by providing technical guidance, managing project deliverable, and overseeing team performance to ensure tasks are completed within agreed time frames, budgets, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- You will lead and develop the electrical engineering team.
- Oversee project delivery from initial design to final production
- Implement continuous improvement processes within the team
- Support, mentor, and create a positive culture
- Conduct weekly 1:1 team member meetings to provide feedback and deliverables
- Develop and implement electrical engineering standards and procedures.
- Determine and optimise the throughput of work within the team
- Adhere to ISO 9001 QMS and company H&S procedures
Essential Criteria
- Qualified to degree level in Electrical or electronic engineering
- Demonstrable experience of working and providing guidance and oversight in an engineering team
- Knowledge of drawing management systems such as Pulse/ Solid Works or similar
- Experienced in the creation and checking of 2D electrical schematics and the use of industry recognised software to produce the same, namely AutoCAD, Solid Works Electrical, Eplan.
- Experience in PLC software programming for machine control
- Commitment to continuous improvement
