Skilled Operative
Location: Kilmarnock, KA3 6AG
Contract Type: Temporary – 12 weeks
Salary: £12.21 per hour

Shifts: Monday – Thursday 7.3am – 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am – 3pm.

We are looking for a Skilled Labourer with experience in grounds maintenance to join our team. You\’ll support a range of outdoor tasks including grass cutting, shrub maintenance, site tidying, and general landscape upkeep, ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of grounds maintenance duties including grass cutting, shrub pruning, and site clearances
  • Work safely and efficiently in line with company Health & Safety policies and guidance
  • Operate basic hand tools and grounds maintenance equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Support the team in delivering quality work for clients and public areas
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate clearly with colleagues

Requirements:

  • To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Full valid UK Driving License, with less than 6 penalty points
  • Willingness to learn & open to training.
  • Safety conscious mindset is key.
  • Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer\’s, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.)
  • Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
  • Experience in Grounds maintenance and labouring
