Are you a skilled Residential Conveyancer looking to make a real impact? We’re seeking someone passionate about managing property transactions and delivering top-tier client service. Based in Carlisle, with the flexibility to work from home, you will handle a diverse range of property transactions, including leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior team members and ensure that business targets and performance standards are consistently achieved.

What’s the Role About?

As part of our busy Conveyancing Department, you’ll manage a range of sales and purchase transactions, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with deadlines. You’ll guide junior colleagues, contribute to team development, and keep client service at the forefront of everything you do., * Manage Your Caseload: Oversee a variety of property transactions, including sales, purchases, new builds, leasehold, and shared ownership, supported by an assistant. Adjust workloads as necessary to ensure smooth operations.

  • Drive Performance: Keep on top of deadlines, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and all transactions progress efficiently.

  • Achieve Targets: Focus on meeting personal completion targets while maintaining an exceptional level of client service.

  • Build Relationships: Regularly communicate with clients, solicitors, panel members, and referral businesses to keep them updated on transaction progress.

  • Mentor Your Team: Guide junior colleagues, setting an example for file management and professional conduct.

  • Stay Current: Engage in ongoing training, one to one’s, and performance reviews, contributing your modern approach to conveyancing and helping the business stay at the cutting edge.

  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with SLAs, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and other SRA requirements.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a conveyancing fee earner role. We’re also happy to consider more experienced candidates.

  • Property Expertise: Comfortable managing a range of property transactions, including leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership.

  • Target-Driven: A strong track record of meeting personal targets and adhering to business KPIs.

  • Self-Motivated: You’re able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly.
