As a member of our Private Equity tax team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of private equity backed businesses supporting them from investment to exit.

A look into the role
As a Manager within our Private Equity tax team, you will :
- Be advising a broad range of clients on a range of tax issues, covering a broad range of compliance and advisory projects
- Oversee the preparation and review of corporation tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations
- Advise on tax implications of business decisions, offering guidance on structuring transactions and mitigating tax risks
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and addressing client inquiries related to tax matters throughout the investment lifecycle
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored tax solutions aligned with their goals
- Stay informed of changes in tax legislation, regulations, and case law affecting private equity backed clients, and communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the Private Equity tax team
- Support with pitches / proposals. You’ll have a desire to get involved in Business Development activities and actively support with growing the business

- You’ll ideally have experience of working with PE backed businesses and / or some transactions experience (DD and / or tax structuring) but this is not essential
- You’ll have reviewed work and supervised people in a tax environment
- You’ll have gained experience working within a professional services environment
- You’ll have experience of managing a portfolio of clients
- An eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities
