Job Description
MRI Technologists are responsible for the following:
- Performs patient imaging and remains current with MRI imaging procedures & protocols.
- Reviews check-in documents for accurate patient medical histories.
- Provides basic patient care services as required.
Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the MRI Technologist operates MRI imaging equipment in order to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Qualifications for this position include:
- 1-3 months experience and/or training required
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
- ARRT (MR) certification required
