For Companies Aldi Bolton, we had an agreement in place with an Agency for Temporary work over the next 6 weeks, however, they have just let us down.

This is the requirements we sent to the agency at the time:
Drivers:
- Class 1 HGV Days
- £17.57 per hour (days)
- Requirement of 2/3 drivers per day over a 7 days a week coverage from 1stAugust
- Rota can be 4 on 4 off, or 5 on 3 off 7 days coverage
- 40 hours minimum weekly
- Start times between 5am-6am we will be able to give exact time on the day before
- No additional training required for scissor lifts etc, will mainly be used for backhaul and equipment to storage, on occasionally store delivery.

Responsibilities
- Operate lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.
