About the role: Air Conditioning Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems across residential, commercial, industrial, and modular buildings. Key Responsibilities: Air Conditioning Engineer
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs).
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive service callouts.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on refrigeration units, including chillers, cold rooms, ice machines, and display cabinets.
- Handle refrigerant recovery, gas charging, and commissioning of new installations.
- Perform electrical fault finding, brazing, and compressor/component replacement.
- Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards.
- Liaise with customers in a professional manner and support junior technicians as required.
What We\’re Looking For: Air Conditioning Engineer
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / City & Guilds equivalent.
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
- Proven experience working with commercial and industrial A/C and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with great communication skills.
