We are seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques. You will be working on a self-employed basis around your current role.

Duties

  • Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures to obtain blood specimens from patients of all ages, including paediatrics.

  • Ensure proper identification and labelling of samples to maintain accuracy in testing.

  • Maintain an aseptic technique while performing blood draws to prevent infections.

  • Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis and transport them according to established protocols.

  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns or questions.
