Drama Teacher – February – Rochdale

Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated Drama teacher to join a secondary school in Rochdale. The role will be on a full time basis and will start after February half term for the remainder of the current academic year. It is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching Drama or expressive arts in a secondary school.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required.

Previous experience teaching Drama in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)

Up to date Prevent awareness training, issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide at least two professional references
