Description
C# Developer / .Net Programmer
C#, .Net 6.0+, VB.Net, SQL Server, Stored procedures, RDBMS, optimisation, WPF, Xamarin – cross training to full stack.
We seek a skilled C# Developer / .Net Programmer to join this international software house and contribute to this established and forward-thinking development team. As a key team member, you will be able to work on cutting-edge software products and contribute to migrating their flagship product from VB.Net to C#. We would like someone who has walked this path before, understands the pain points when you are migrating large, complex solutions.
Requirements
* Proven experience in C# and/or VB.Net commercial software development
* Proficiency in .Net 6.0+, Windows/Win Forms, SQL Server, T-SQL, LINQ, WPF/WCF
* Experience with Visual Studio and Xamarin is a plus
* Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and familiarity with working in sprints
* Any experience of WPF and/or MVVM will be useful
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and be a strong communicator, both verbal and written
Responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into software solutions
* Research and develop algorithms and programming in C# or VB.Net
* Estimate, design, and implement logic to deliver system functionality
* Adopt an end-user perspective to adequately test solutions
* Collaborate with the development team in an Agile/Scrum environment
