Your Role

You’ll provide quality legal advice to the firm’s clients by managing your own complex caseload from the outset. Your aim will be to obtain interim payments wherever possible, so that we can put rehabilitation, a care package and suitable accommodation in place before the claim is concluded. As a team, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our clients.

You’ll join a Partner led Medical Negligence team based in the North West.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing your own caseload including litigated cases, while also assisting the Partners and senior team members on high value cases.
  • Providing supervision to junior members of the team.
  • Taking instructions from clients and giving consistently accurate technical legal advice whilst providing support to clients throughout.
  • Review cases and other relevant matters with supervisor to ensure quality legal advice is provided.
  • About You

  • 5yrs+ PQE in Clinical Negligence with mainly Claimant experience.
  • Experience of handling your own cases, including your own litigated cases.
  • A clear enthusiasm for this area of law and a commitment to securing the best outcomes for your clients.
  • An ability to work with empathy and integrity.
  • Experience in line management and supervision of junior team members.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • An aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and external relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
