A leading independent accounting firm are experiencing significant growth in their Financial Services Audit team and keen to strengthen this with hires across a range of levels. Led by ex-partners from Big 4 and other top firms, this is an environment geared towards internal development and progression alongside. Attrition rates are very low and showcase the supportive and close-knit team, improved work-life balance and better culture comparative to other top firms.
The firm is hiring in line with their growth, with consideration for candidates being flexible across the main hub of the United Kingdom. All post-qualified seniorities from Assistant Manager up to Partner will be considered. As a team of sector specialists, you too will have demonstrable experience managing a portfolio of clients within the asset and wealth management space.
General responsibilities:
– Manage a portfolio of clients within the wealth and asset management sector
– Lead all aspects of the audit process, across planning and fieldwork through to reporting
– Uphold the firm’s reputation as sector specialists in engaging and advising clients, and working collaboratively with colleagues where relevant to broaden business relationships and technical expertise
– Supervise daily operations of the team, and actively leading junior team members through training and reviewing work
– Not only acting as a subject matter expert with your clients but also continuing to develop new relationships to bring in new opportunities
Requirements:
– ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified or equivalent
– Sector experience gained in the UK working with wealth management and/or asset management clients
– Adept with UK GAAP and IFRS. Additional expertise around PCAOB, SOX or CASS audits are a plus
– Collaborative and driven to continually learn and develop
