What you do
This role is within the Group Accounting & Reporting (A&R) department in the Finance Function. The team ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual ledger closing and reporting under IFRS and local GAAP, complying with Solvency II regulations within Allianz Partners.
AWP Health & Life S.A., incorporated and registered with the French regulator, conducts its annual closing, audit, and filing under French GAAP. Monthly and quarterly closings for this entity follow IFRS for Group reporting by the H&L Accounting & Reporting team.
- Ensure all periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly) are disclosed on time, meeting group deadlines and regulatory requirements, including accounting, tax, and legal standards.
- Monitor balance sheet accounts and ensure proper reconciliations by Finance Factory to maintain reliable financial statements.
- Periodically review profit and loss accounts, ensuring accurate bookkeeping by Finance Factory to reflect the financial position and profitability of the Sub Region.
- Assist Finance Factory in timely tax submissions, escalate risks requiring mitigation, and coordinate ad hoc tax audits.
