Will be responsible for scheduling all resources to complete projects under construction successfully. Supervises and directs employees involved in the production, maintenance, and construction to lead staff. This position is in the Wasatch Front, and travel may be required.What You\’ll DoDuties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Supervise the workers\’ activities in the maintenance and construction of all projects. Lead and direct staff toward the company\’s safety goals.Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget.Have strong leadership and verbal communication skills.Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished consistently with organizational requirements.Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, order management, accounting, safety audits, fleet allocation, reporting, annual certifications of specialty equipment, and operator qualification implementation.Manage project budgets with project managers, inspectors, and management.Keep resource allocations up to date in the company management system daily.Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints.Work remotely with direct supervisors.Valid driver’s license, drug screen, and background checks.Behavioral Competencies:Integrity – Act with integrity: truthfulness, fairness, and honesty.Excellent Interpersonal Skills – Be a team player across all departments.Hard Worker – Have a strong work ethic – be present, on time, and on task.Accountability – Take responsibility for your actions and decisions.Confidentiality – Protect operations by keeping information confidential.Attention to Detail – Demonstrate a thorough concern for the details and understand that a task worth doing is worth doing well.What You\’ll BringPreferred Qualifications:Transportation — Knowledge of principles and methods for moving equipment, including the relative costs and benefits.Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordinating people and resources with other departments.Computer Skills – Ability to navigate computers for viewing budgets, approving time, entering field data, creating reports, drafting and receiving emails, and reviewing work plans, project specifications, and drawings.Heavy Equipment Operation and Trenching—Possesses experience operating heavy equipment typically used in the construction and maintenance of oil and gas projects. Knowledge of state one-call laws and regulations. Will be knowledgeable on proper safe trenching excavation techniques, equipment, and deep excavations.Pipe Fabrication and Construction – Previous experience with standards of practice for installing primarily steel pipes and components in pipelines, plants, and facilities.Previous Work Experience – A minimum of 6 years related construction experience.Ability to work in an outdoor field environment during all seasons of the year and tolerate extreme temperature variations.Activities such as lifting, bending, and climbing are required to fulfill job duties for this position.What You\’ll GetComprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability insurance and 401k matching.
