Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will engage in the development and maintenance of electronic products, including troubleshooting designs, designing testability, generating test plans, conducting validation and compliance tests, and creating design and product documentation. Your contributions will drive performance, functionality, cost optimization, test efficiency, manufacturability, and the quality of products delivered.

This role requires strong communication skills, proactive solution investigation, and the ability to work effectively as a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain electronic product designs, ensuring high quality and compliance with design standards.

· Troubleshoot and optimize existing designs for performance, functionality, cost, and manufacturability.

· Design for testability and generate comprehensive test plans.

· Conduct validation, verification, and compliance tests at board and system levels.

· Create detailed design and product documentation for traceability and certification.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate solutions and implement improvements.

· Manage prototype builds from BOM creation to build change requests and implementation.

Requirements:

· Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related qualification.

· 3 years of relevant electronics product design and testing experience in one or more of the following areas:

· Microprocessor/Microcontroller system design, preferably with ARM processors.

· Memory system designs.

· Logic design for FPGA/CPLD/PAL devices.

· Electronic board-level design, including early-stage testability planning.

· Ethernet and USB design, testing, and certification.

· Digital electronics power supply circuits.

· Proficiency in designing tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.

· Experience in board-level and system-level design verification testing.

· Knowledge of EMI noise reduction techniques and countermeasures for PCB layout.

· Experience with EMC/EMI regulatory certification testing.

· Ability to perform Signal Integrity measurements using Network Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.

· Experience in environmental and certification testing for product standards.

· Proven experience managing prototype builds efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in Functional Safety product development with IEC61508 standards will be an added advantage.
