Role: Global Clinical Operations LeadsLocation: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office)Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekPay: £339.27 – £376.97 per day (PAYE) OR £450 – £500 per day (UMB)Contract: 6-month contract, inside IR35
An excellent opportunity has arisen for two Contract Clinical Operations Leads to join one of our longstanding clients, a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, based in Welwyn Garden City.
This is a hybrid office-based role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home. Please note that onsite requirements may change over time.

The Requirements:
- Have a notice period of 1 month or less
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience (clinical trial management is a plus)
- University degree or equivalent years of experience – preferably in life sciences
- Strong working knowledge of the drug development process and regulations, including ICH and GCP guidelines
- Growth mindset and passion for delivering quality service
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly collaborative environments
- Self-starter with strong motivation to achieve successful outcomes
- Ability to build and manage relationships with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
The Role:
- Lead or contribute to one or more cross-functional global working groups and study teams.
- Drive operational excellence by managing budgets, developing study plans, and ensuring consistency across operations.
- Oversee vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring performance and compliance with ICH/GCP and other regulations.
- Provide country-level oversight, supporting feasibility assessments and site selection for trials.
- Contribute to innovative clinical trial delivery, collaborating across global teams and geographies.
