Registered Veterinary Nurse. Debenham Suffolk. £27,500 – £33,200k per annum. You love being a nurse, great at your job, and at your happiest when caring for the animals. But targets are taking over, often focussed on maximising profits not relationships. The irony is the bottom line looks after itself when the client is your main focus. You didn’t become a nurse to spend less time with the patient, did you? You are a nurse who cares, wants to be the best you can be, and give back to the industry you love. You are frustrated, thinking about moving but worried you will get more of the same. What if we knew of an independent where clinical excellence is key, a place where you can learn and develop your skills, work with a likeminded team in a friendly atmosphere, a place that values what you do and somewhere you can feel appreciated? Luckily we do and this one is hiring. This modern practice looks after small animals of all shapes and sizes. Owned by a vet, an independent, not a chain where a kind, emphatic person is more important to them than previous experience. They offer onsite emergency and critical care, plus referral services for veterinary ophthalmology, small animal surgery, outpatient CT imaging, laparoscopic spays, radioactive iodine treatment and dermatology. They have a loyal client base and outstanding reputation, check out their 200+ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews on Google. You will be getting stuck in right from the start rotating between different wards, clinics, ophthalmology, surgical, and first opinion. Loads of different cases and variety with no two days the same. They offer a supportive, learning environment where everyone pulls together when there’s work, and relaxes when it’s time. A strong team that wants the best for patients and practice. Your opinion is valued here and your voice is heard. They have a strong focus on continued education and professional development for all staff. They’re interested in improving all their team and investing in them. Because it’s mutually beneficial. With plenty of experience in house this is a great place to learn and advance. Certificates are supported and they have a broad range of CPD being undertaken across the practice alongside offering and hosting CPD events. It’s 40 hours a week here with 1:14 Saturday mornings and 1:14 OOH. They are a very sociable team enjoying time away from the practice, with plenty going on outside of work hours to look forward to, only recently they hosted a dinner for 43. So, what’s in it for you? A salary range of £27.5k – £33.2k DOE. Company Pension, RCVS, VDS fees paid, six weeks holidays, employee discount plus extra money for OOH and coaching. Located in Debenham there are plenty of facilities on your doorstep, pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. Nearby they have Snape Maltings, one of the world\’s leading centres of music and arts, some of the best schools in the country, and the stunning Suffolk & Essex Coast Heaths National Landscape a short drive away. So, what’s next? Send your CV, don’t worry if it’s not up to date. We can’t get the whole story in a job ad so ask any questions. I’ll answer honestly, no hard sell. Be a happier more fulfilled nurse
