As a Sales applications specialist you will be responsible for Point of Care Ultrasound within the assigned geographical area. You will own the sales number, strategy and product support for your customers, and using your commercial and clinical experience, protect and gain market share. You will own the entire sales process, this will include quoting, doing clinical demo’s and closing projects. There will be a need to work closely with other members of the team and also the wider team such as Clinical Applications, Marketing and EMEA product developers.

Requirements
Job Description
- Compiling lists of prospective customers and sales leads. Follow up as necessary
- Working with sales leaders and sales representatives to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities
- Providing training to all sales team members on strategy and product offerings
- Making cold calls to potential customers where required
- Providing pricing strategy and insure pricing compliance for segment opportunities
- Estimating date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company\’s production and delivery schedules
- Forecasting orders and sales of assigned territory and submit monthly report
- Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company
- Deliver competent clinical product demonstrations in the clinical setting to ensure sales success.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field or Life Sciences field
- Medical Imaging/Life sciences sales experience or Clinical Ultrasound experience (NHS OR Private)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to travel
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Must live in one of the following counties: West Midlands, Hereford & Worcester, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire or Nottinghamshire
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in sales and/or clinical applications of Ultrasound
- Previous experience selling capital goods to the NHS or private sector
- Ability to clinically demonstrate medical ultrasound in Point of Care areas of the hospital.
