Title: Automation Tester
Location: Northampton, UK (Hybrid)
Role Description
– Create automation scripts, including estimates, scripts, and pre/post conditioning with minimal supervision.
– Execute automated tests and collate evidence for progress reporting and tracking.
– Communicate test results, data, and defects to project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in discussions with the functional team to understand Gherkin tests and related conditions.
- Create query logs, mind maps, and flowcharts.
- Develop automation code using Java, Selenium, JQuery, and Cucumber.
- Set up and run automated tests, recording evidence.
- Report defects with detailed information.
- Hand over stabilized scripts to release and feature teams.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders to track deliverables and escalate issues as needed.
- Complete tasks within schedule constraints.
