Role Summary
As a BDR, youll play a critical role in growing the customer base by identifying, engaging, and converting restaurants onto the platform. Youll have the flexibility to sell in a way that feels natural to youphone, video, email, in-person, or all of the above. This is a fast-paced, early-stage environment, so self-motivation, energy, and persistence are key. For the right person, there\’s a clear path to promotion into an Account Executive role within 6 months or less.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and engage restaurants across the UK to generate qualified leads
- Educate prospects on the value of the platform and tailor your approach based on each venues needs
- Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations (remotely) to decision makers
- Follow up on inbound interest and build outbound campaigns to drive awareness
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide feedback to the leadership team on market trends
- Hit activity and revenue-based KPIs in line with company targets
- Collaborate with founders and Account Executives to improve sales playbooks and customer experience
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
- 1-2 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or telesales role ideally within SaaS, hospitality tech, or start-up environments
- Experience selling to small business owners, GMs, or restaurant operators is a strong plus
- Passion for hospitality, food & drink, or tech
- Exposure to using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
