Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain RF communication systems integrated with IP networking solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot networking devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, from Cisco, MikroTik, or Ubiquiti.
- Implement VLANs, QoS, and VPNs, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
- Perform site surveys, create codeplugs, and conduct remote diagnostics for radio systems.
- Support VoIP, SIP, and Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular solutions.
- Provide third-line support for complex RF and network-related issues.
- Collaborate on projects to ensure high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with routing and switching using wireless vendors such as Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Radwin, Siklu, Ceragon, Cambium, Mimosa etc.
- Familiarity with VoIP and SIP.
- Proficiency in using network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, Ping, and Traceroute.
- Basic knowledge of firewall configurations and VPNs.
- SC clearable (Security Clearance eligibility).
- Willingness to work 5 days a week on-site in Park Royal and travel to customer sites.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with DMR, PMR, PTT, and brands like Motorola, Hytera, Tait, or Icom.
- Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Motorola Solutions certifications (e.g., MOTOTRBO).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of radio programming, codeplug management, or mesh networks.
