About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join our precision engineering team in Brentwood. This role involves producing high-quality components for the Aerospace, Defence, and Commercial sectors using Mazak lathes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate Mazak CNC lathes
- Work to tight tolerances and engineering drawings
- Produce precision components for high-spec industries
- Maintain quality and efficiency throughout the machining process
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years\’ experience in CNC turning
- Proficient in Mazak/Mazatrol (programming experience is a plus)
- Experience with Fanuc controls also considered
- Alphacam CAD/CAM experience is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
