Biomass Service Engineer – Join a growing team! Location: Glasgow office Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 7am – 5pm, Monday to Friday Salary: 40k – 45k A leading company in renewable energy solutions are growing fast and looking for a Biomass Service Engineer to join their team. This is your chance to make a real impact. If you have experience in the biomass or commercial heating industry and you are ready for a role where no two days are the same then I want to hear from you. About the Role This is a full-time role providing coverage throughout Scotland, with occasional travel across the UK and overnight stays. You'll be working on biomass boiler installations, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. It's an opportunity to work with a team that's passionate about renewable energy and delivering exceptional service. What You'll Be Doing: Diagnosing & Resolving Issues: React to time-critical faults, including out-of-hours callouts, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Regular Maintenance: Perform scheduled service tasks, such as monthly ash disposals and inspections. Improvements & Reporting: Proactively suggest enhancements to installed plant and submit detailed reports. On-Site Support: Collaborate with site and office-based engineers to deliver seamless service. Field-Based Tech: Complete job reports efficiently using tablet devices. The Essentials: We need an engineer with the following: Hands-on experience with biomass systems. Solid background in the Commercial Plumbing and Heating industry.
